The first event of the year will be the IAITAM Spring ACE which will take place on May 8-10 in Orlando, FL. This is the largest gathering of SAM professionals in the United States and offers an agenda rich in end-user and vendor presentations, and an Exhibit Hall filled with SAM tool providers, consulting firms and IT Asset Disposal companies. The attendees tend to be IT and Software Asset Management practitioners, so if you are a SAM professional interested in networking with peers, this is a great conference for you. Immediately prior to this event, on May 7, IAITAM holds their one-day CXO conference that focuses on current hot topics in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and SAM for C-level executives. At the CXO conference, Eracent President William Choppa will be leading a panel discussion entitled “Everything Cloud!: Panel Discussion on an Emerging ITAM Trend” and will be available to meet with conference participants.
During the same week, we will be sponsoring at ServiceNow’s Knowledge18 on May 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Knowledge18 is ServiceNow’s annual user conference that is designed for its customers using the IT Service Management platform. This is a massive event consisting of numerous tracks, workshops, training, the show floor and Expo of ServiceNow’s partners, and entertaining evening events. The conference will offer a SAM track as well. As fall approaches, we will be sponsoring at the Gartner Asset Management conferences in the United States and Europe. This year Gartner is combining its IT Financial, Procurement and Asset Management Summit with its IT Sourcing Summit. Historically, these conferences were held back to back but will be merged to form the IT Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor and Asset Management Summit which will take place in the United States on September 5-7 in Orlando, FL and in London, U.K. on September 26-28. Gartner offers a high-quality event rich in industry content. Most of the sessions are delivered by Gartner Analysts with some customer case studies and vendor presentations.
