PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

Eracent, a leading provider of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions, is seeking an experienced enterprise software Product Manager to drive the strategy and development of new modules and features as we expand our product offerings. Experience in the IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management (SAM) and/or IT Service Management (ITSM) market spaces is highly desirable.

Job Description:

Responsible for managing the business and functional requirements and technical activities to deliver solutions that meet market needs. Develop solution strategies, build interactive relationships with customers, and manage specific programs in order to achieve business objectives. Work closely with customers, product development teams, internal and partner sales and consulting personnel, and other functional area leaders to construct product roadmaps and define detailed product specifications. Participate in competitive analysis exercises and assist in determining optimal product pricing.

Scope:

  • Lead product strategies globally
  • Direct and control the activities of one or more major product groups in the Eracent product suite
  • Act as a thought leader within Eracent and externally in industry circles (conferences, forums, standards bodies, etc.)
  • Utilize broad industry and market knowledge to promote innovative concepts and new ideas
    Prioritize and manage the activities of teams located in more than one site, worldwide
  • Apply knowledge and practical application of modern product management and development techniques and processes.

Job Complexity:

  • Work to solve complex issues where an analysis of a situation across functional areas requires in-depth knowledge
  • Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas
  • Ensure that budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements
  • Oversee (with Services and other functional areas) customer solution adoption and product satisfaction, ensuring annual renewals and solution expansion

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Eracent’s President

Experience: Minimum of 12 years of overall enterprise software market experience, of which a minimum of 6 years is in Product Management or a functional equivalent. Experience in the IT Asset Management and IT Service Management market space is highly desirable.
