OTTSVILLE, PA, (Eracent) October 31, 2007 - ISO/IEC 19770-2 is the next software standard slated to ease software management and compliance issues. Currently under development, this new standard will provide a common identification and tagging methodology for software. As an international standard, ISO/IEC 19770-2 will dictate the identification data included on all software titles and operating systems. These tags will make it easier to retrieve meaningful and descriptive information about the software installed in the corporate environment.
