ISO Contributes to Software Asset Management
The 19770-1 standard is a set of software management outcomes that tie directly to service management. These same outcomes create a proactive approach that leads to software license compliance.

Like all standards, ISO 19770-1 provides a universal base upon which programs can be built, identifying outcomes and integrations that all software management programs should include. The next level of detail, the actual “how to,” is not offered in the standard, leaving the flexibility to achieve those goals in a manner that best suits a particular organization.

Our customers are a step ahead with service management because of their ability to maintain software compliance through automation, freeing resources to work on further service management integration.
